Safety work footwear in a modern trainer design with ESD protection. Features a composite toe cap which has the same properties as steel but is lighter. Puncture resistance is guaranteed by a Kevlar insole. The upper is made from durable KPU material and breathable 1.5 mm polyester. Comfortable wear is also ensured by the breathable textile lining. The sole is made of PU-PU.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is the transfer of charge by breakdown from a material or object with a different electrical potential relative to its immediate surroundings. ESD antistatic work footwear provides protection for electrostatically sensitive components against electrostatic discharges and fields by dissipating static electricity from the surface of the worker's body to prevent static electricity discharge and damage to manufactured electronic components. The recommended resistance range according to EN 61340-5-1 for ESD footwear is 10⁵ to 10⁸ Ohms.
