The sole is made of dual-density polyurethane with ESD function.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) is the transfer of charge by breakdown from a material or object with a different electrical potential relative to its immediate surroundings. ESD antistatic safety footwear provides protection for electrostatically sensitive components against electrostatic discharges and fields by dissipating static electricity from the surface of the worker's body to prevent static electricity discharge and damage to manufactured electronic components. The recommended resistance range according to EN 61340-5-1 for ESD footwear is 10⁵ to 10⁸ Ohms.
