Lightweight textile work footwear with protective toe cap is very comfortable even for all-day wear. The protective toe cap is made of glass fibre and puncture resistance is guaranteed by a composite insole. The upper has a modern sporty design and is made of breathable textile, which increases walking comfort. The sole is made of dual-density polyurethane and has an ESD function. One shoe in size 42 weighs 495 g.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is the transfer of charge by breakdown from a material or object with a different electrical potential relative to the immediate surroundings. ESD antistatic work footwear provides protection for electrostatically sensitive components against electrostatic discharges and fields by dissipating static electricity charge from the surface of the worker's body to prevent static electricity discharge and damage to manufactured electronic components. The recommended resistance range according to EN 61340-5-1 for ESD footwear is 10⁵ to 10⁸ Ohms.
