The FJORD BAREFOOT+ O6 ankle boot combines a wide barefoot toe box, higher cushioning sole and REGI-TEX® membrane, offering more natural foot movement and greater comfort at work, on hikes and during everyday outdoor activities.
FJORD BAREFOOT+ O6 is an ankle boot designed for anyone who wants to retain the main benefits of barefoot footwear but appreciates more cushioning and protection when walking. The wide barefoot toe box provides plenty of room for the toes and allows the foot to work more naturally. Thanks to the minimal drop, the foot position remains closer to its natural alignment.
Walking comfort is ensured by the higher PLUSOR sole, which was developed specifically for the BAREFOOT+ range. Its wider base supports stability whilst helping to cushion stones, roots and other terrain irregularities. This means you don't have to feel everything under your foot with every step.
The PLUSOR sole made from a combination of EVA and rubber is tested for slip resistance, contributing to a more confident step on various surfaces. The boots are therefore ideal for everyday outdoor movement, at work, on walks and during more active leisure time.
The upper consists of breathable MESH textile complemented by TPU elements, which combines low weight, ventilation and durability. The mesh material supports air circulation, whilst the TPU elements help protect high-wear areas and give the boots a modern technical appearance.
Inside the footwear is a REGI-TEX® membrane, which helps protect feet from moisture and adverse weather. This means you can rely on the footwear even in changeable outdoor conditions.
All-day wearing comfort is complemented by the ABSORBA FLATBED insole, which supports pleasant foot contact with the footwear. Combined with the lightweight construction, the boots serve well during extended wear at work, outdoor movement and leisure time.
BAREFOOT+ retains the main advantage of barefoot footwear - a wide toe box with plenty of room for the toes and more natural foot positioning. However, compared to classic very thin barefoot soles, it offers a higher sole with greater cushioning and protection, making it more comfortable on harder and uneven surfaces.
It is therefore particularly suitable for those who have wider feet, want plenty of room for their toes and at the same time don't want to feel pebbles, roots or other terrain irregularities with every step.
